The Lister Pathology department are looking for a Full time HCPC registered 2years experience Biomedical scientists in Transfusion and Haematology to work in the pathology services at East and North Hertfordshire Trust.
Duties will include routine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the various analysers across Transfusion and Haematology discipline, including Diamed for Transfusion, ACLTOP, Horiba.
The department has acquired new Sysmex analysers for Haematology and Griffol analysers for Transfusion and is in the process of implementing these.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week flexibly, including shifts to cover the 24/7 service.
Staff development is vital to the organisation and support will be provided to become a multidisciplinary member of staff within the Blood sciences department.
