An opportunity has arisen for a full time, Senior Biomedical Scientist in the National Parasitology Reference Laboratory at our Central London site.
The position holder will have the responsibility to provide a professional clinical diagnostic parasitology service for the benefit of patients, users and staff within the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, as well as to other hospitals, Trusts, Public Health England laboratories and the National Blood Service.
The Biomedical Scientist must use a combination of knowledge and skills to ensure that the appropriate testing is performed safely, accurately and in a timely manner on each sample received.
The laboratory is situated in central London, has full UKAS accreditation and offers a pleasant working environment with excellent staff facilities.
