Band 7 Senior BMS – IT Lead / Neuroimmunology / Neurobiochemistry
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join the Walton Centre’s Neurosciences pathology team as a Senior Biomedical Scientist. This is a split role where the post holder will be the IT systems lead for the Neuroscience Laboratories (Neuroimmunology, Neurobiochemistry and diagnostic Neuropathology).
The post holder will be the first point of contact for all IT matters relating to the Neuroscience Laboratories. They will also be responsible for the routine support and administration of the LIMS systems, currently Technidata UK and National Pathology Exchange (NPEx) . The post holder will also be responsible for the functioning of the rostered section of the Neurobiochemistry Laboratory, practicing as a HCPC registered BMS providing a comprehensive range of scientific and diagnostic services in Neurobiochemistry and Neuroimmunology
The successful candidate will have a background in Immunology or Biochemistry and will be able to demonstrate involvement / interest in the administration of LIMS systems.
