The Pathology Department at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust currently has vacancies for enthusiastic, innovative, quality driven, qualified Biomedical Scientists to work in the Microbiology Department. The Microbiology Department is CPA Accredited and is an IBMS accredited training laboratory.
Applications are invited from applicants who are suitably qualified and have HCPC registration. Applicants must have experience of working in the hospital laboratory environment including experience within a Microbiology laboratory.The successful applicant would be expected to rotate around all areas in Microbiology.
Commitment to the provision of a 7 day service with on-call is a necessary requirement for this post and the successful applicant will be expected to fully participate in the shift system and out-of-hours service once trained.
