A vacancy has arisen for a Full Time HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in our Biochemistry Department based at our Whitfield Street Laboratory.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Biomedical Scientist who will work as part of a team undertaking highly specialised Clinical Biochemistry investigations. These are carried out on samples unsupervised and in accordance with local standard operating procedures. Work will be undertaken with some autonomy but under the overall responsibility of the laboratory manager.
As the laboratory is run as a 365 day service, there will be a requirement for the successful applicant to participate in department rota’s including early, late and weekend cover.
