A vacancy has arisen within the Histopathology department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary for a full time Registered Biomedical Scientist.
The post holder should be HCPC registered with some experience in histopathology techniques, although training will be given for the successful candidate.
This is an exciting position and the successful applicant will be joining a team in a busy but friendly department. The department processes approximately 28,000 specimens and performs 10,000 IHC stains per year.
Hours of Duty:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
8.30 am till 5.00 pm
Anyone newly appointed to the Trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
